Dear customer and fellow business owner:
Our future rests with you! And your future rests with the "fair" trades laws and policies of the United States!
We support the objectives of SAM, a grass roots movement to make our government aware of the devastating effects on manufacturing of the economic trade deficit with China. The "Save American Manufacturing" committee of the American Mold Builders Association is dedicated to organizing the American worker and small business owner to speak out on this critical issue.
To this end, we want to promote the SAM letter writing campaign. We have enclosed their fact sheet and sample letters that can be used by employees and employers. We have also make these available to download from our updated web page at www.schweda.com. If you would rather have any of these documents e-mailed to you, just contact joes@schweda.com. Also, please register at the SAM website www.samnow.org to get updates on new initiatives, meetings, upcoming legislation, etc.
While the SAM letters are addressed to the President of the United States, it is also highly desirable to send these to your senators and congressman and Governor Doyle. We have included a list of their fax numbers, the preferred method of contact. Our updated web page, www.schweda.com also includes a page with various links to related sites with additional information regarding this critical issue. Please make your employees aware of these resources and the need for them to have their voices heard in Washington.
To save you time, we would be very pleased to present this issue directly to your employees to highlight the threat to all of us and to encourage their participation. We'd like to show you and your employees the best methods to make this campaign as powerful as possible. LET US HELP YOU, AND US! Thanks for caring!
Sincerely,
Thomas A. Schweda
President
